Introduction

Central java is offering fascinate of natural tourism object. Location which is contain highland, hill, volcano, and crater make this place be one of destination object tourism. One of object tourism which is located in Central Java is Dieng plateau, a district tourism is located in Wonosobo , province of Central Java. Dieng Plateau tourism has many spot object tourism. One of them is “Telaga Warna”, Telaga is lake and Warna is color.

Telaga Warna in the morning

According to the story, water in “Telaga Warna” can change its color to be blue,  green, yellow, even it can be red or full color like a rainbow. That is why this lake named by “Telaga Warna”, because its color can be change. This place has legend which believed by citizen that is a ring of blue blooded. One upon a time, the ring dropped in to the lake. Because the ring has big power, it can make the water in lake is changed.

Another legend, this lake is a place for fairy. Because of their power, they can make water in lake is changed. Scientifically, this lake contents high sulfur. So, when the sun shining the water then it can be changed.

Scenery

Like mostly another lakes, “Telaga Warna” has a lot of water, but the water contents high sulfur standard in here. Because of this high standard sulfur, sometime it seems blue, green, yellow, even full color like a rainbow. But, the water often seems green all day long. Harmonization between nature fresh weather and clean air made every visitor who came here feel so amazed. Visitor perhaps feels mystic around trees which growing up well.

Object “Telaga Warna” has large are which is contain of several caves and “Telaga Pengilon”. Those caves are Gua Semar, Gua Sumur Eyang Kumalasari, and Gua Jaran Resi Kendaliseto. Those caves are placed for meditation in long time ago. So, those have many stories about them. “Telaga pengilon” is mane of pond which has clean water. It needs about an hour to step round area. It is good come here in the morning or midday, because fog will cover up the view when evening is coming.
