Borobudur is the biggest Buddha temple in the world. It is located in district central Java, Indonesia. It has real name that is “Bhumi Sambhara Budhara” (according to the J.G de Casparis, a historian). In the beginning, this temple is build for devotions. Since medieval ninth century until beginning eleventh century, it becomes place for Buddhist visitor to a sacred place from China, India, Tibet, and Cambodia. It is consist of 1460 reliefs, 504 stupas, and 15.129 m2 square measured. Initially, Sir Thomas Stanford Raffles found this temple in bad condition. First big restoration project for Borobudur begun in 1905. Second restoration to rescue Borobudur committed with UNESCO aid in August 1913.
