Each country has different culture heritage thus there are a lot of diverse cultures in the world. The culture of western will certain be different from the culture in eastern because they have different history. Cultures evolve in the next period in a long time, therefore it becomes a unique thing. This uniqueness makes culture needed to be preserved. Besides having a role as a legacy from ancestors, the culture of countries often becomes main attraction for tourists to visit the country. One of countries that has interesting culture is Japan. Travelers who have visited Japan will know that Japan has many shrines. A number of shrines in Japan are culture heritage which has been successfully maintained. Hanami is one of Japan traditions that can attract tourists from around the world because it is really interesting, read more about Hanami . Another Japan culture which is interesting to discuss is Japan traditional clothes namely Kimono and Yukata. Japanese women will look elegant and beautiful when use either kimono or yukata. At first glance, there are no different that can be seen from two types of those Japan traditional clothes. However, there are several different between both of them.

Traditional Clothe from Japan

Kimono
Before clothe industry is well developed as now days, kimono was common clothe that was used in Japan for daily life. Kimono is traditional dress that has long history and evolves from era to era. In the era of Jomon and Yayoi, the shape of Kimono looks like frocks. At that time, the Kimono which was made from silk fabric intended to noble, while common people use kimono which was made from hemp fibers (cotton). In the Edo era, there was another type of kimono namely Furisode (special type of kimono for unmarried women), it was originally known as Tamoto. Clothing culture changed in the era of Meiji and Taiso. Nobility palace started using clothes from western, citizen also followed its culture. However, many people still maintained the presence of kimono. Development of textile world was able to produce kimono with nicer and more interesting. Kimono becomes more interesting when Yuzen technique was known by Japanese, the Yuzen is a drawing technique using brush which produces motif on cloths. Despite the kimono becomes more interesting than before, reason of simple clothes makes some changes in clothing in Japan. Finally, a number of simple clothes make many people prefer not to wear kimono in their daily life. However, today, the charm of kimono still looks beautiful. Japan population usually will use the kimono only on the specific event.

Yukata
Yukata is a non-formal version of kimono. At first, Yukata only used as clothe which is used after take a bath or to go to sleep, but never used to leave the house. Today, it has become a common thing wearing Yukata in outdoors. Yukata are generally made from thin cotton and how to sewing yukata is easier than the kimono. Yukata appeal is not less impressive than kimono even though kimono is the most interesting. Today, yukata is often used during parties and celebrations during summer in Japan. Both yukata and kimono are available for both men and women.
