Goa pindul is name of cave which
is located in Gunungkidul, Province Yogyakarta Indonesia. As we know that
Gunungkidul is famous because its object tourism especially beach. Beach as
long as sequence in the south side of Gunungkidul have been known because its
fascinate nature. In the Beginning 2000s, Gunungkidul presents new adventure that
is cave tubing, other people also called them by river tubing. Before famous become
an object tourism, Goa pindul just a playing place for children around location.
A community and citizen around improve this place become unique object tourism.

This adventure is a journey to go
along through to the cave and river. Goa pindul consist of river and cave which
has track with length about 350 meter, wide about 5 meter, the river’s depth
about 8 to 15 meter and the cave’s height about 4 meter. It has three zones,
that is bright zone, dusk zone, and dark zone. Time for cross the track is
about 45 minutes. There is no worry for visitor who can’t swim, you’ll be fully
equipped by safety equipment and a guide also will make you safe along journey.
As long as track, you’ll enjoy view inside the cave, full of stalagtit and
stalagmite which has been made tens up to hundreds year. According to the
organizer there is a stalagtite in Goa pindul is the fourth biggest in the
world. There is a myth about water drop from the stalagtite that is for woman
who is touched this water, she will be ageless. It is just a myth and there is
no proof scientifically.
Difference between cave tubing
and rafting is equipment which is used. Rafting use raft for cross the track, then
cave tubing use inner tire for cross the track. Goa pindul has quite enough
water flow, so there is no much worry for you even for child. Guide will not
allow visitor go inside without safety equipment even for who has skilled swim.
Visitor can swim in the bright zone. Unfortunately, its water sometimes is not
good enough for swim.
