Candi Abang is crowded by people
Visitors who first came to this place will be surprised because they could not find the temple at this location. They only see a hill overgrown by grass and broad meadows. Hope to add a collection of pictures of the temple had vanished. Candi Abang which could be interpreted as red temple was not a temple tourist attraction. Although none could find temple herein, but visitors will be amazed by the natural charm given. Visitors can see the landscape in the form of pasture and field farm from the top of the hill. At sunset, the visitor can see the sun began to sink, and changes color to orange then dark. When the sun had begun to sink and the sky became dark, visitors can enjoy views of the Yogyakarta city at night which is decorated with urban lights slowly began to glow.
This location can be achieved using a motorcycle, car, and public transportation such as buses. early sunset in Candi Abang
From parking area then we continue to go to the green hill in Candi Abang on foot. The path to green hills in Candi Abang bit steep and rocky, very slippery if wet season. We recommend that visitors who want to visit here using comfortable sandals for walking so that the foot does not hurt. Apparently, this green hill made of red bricks that eventually the entire surface is covered with grass. According to the stories of local residents, in the body of the Candi Abang there is gold amounted a calves. However, there is no one who dared to prove the truth because it will damage the temple brother. That said, the temple covered an unseen brother named "Kyai Jagal" (illustrated with a man who has big size body and long hair) so that no one dares to undermine the temple Abang and the story of gold in the Candi Abang remains be a mystery until now.
