In France, there is a bridge which has an altitude of 343 meters ie the Le Viaduc de Millau. Le Viaduc de Millau has wide of 32 meters and long of 2,460 meters, connecting Paris and Barcelona. Development Le Viaduc de Millau took place in 2001 to 2004, first opened on December 14, 1994. The success of the construction of Le viaduc de Millau be evidence that a well-developed civil engineering in France. Construction is done very well so the Le Viaduc de Millau received an award from the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) in the form of Outstanding Structure Award in 2006. The presence of Le Viaduc de Millau is not only as a means of transportation but also as a tourist attractions. Many travelers who are curious to try walking on an altitude of 343 meters. Le Viaduc de Millau is located in the south of France was built on the river Tarn in the Massif Central mountain, Millau. The Le Viaduc De Millau becomes the highest bridge in the world after beating a height of some bridges which have a high enough altitude as Sutong Yangtze River bridge in China (306 meters), Akashi-Kaikyo in Japan (298.3 meters), and Stonecutters in Hong Kong (298 meters). The Le Viaduc de Millau constructed using the technique of execution of Incremental Launching Method (ILM). ILM has been used to build the Caroni Bridge along 265 feet and crosses the Caroni River in Venezuela. Unfortunately, Caroni Bridge reported collapses in 2008, killing one person and there are four injuries. ILM patented since 1967, it is the work of Prof. Dr. Ing. F Leonhardt along with his partner, Willi Baur.
