Taj Mahal is a famous building in the world because of the magnificent building which made from 43 precious stones, several of the those precious stone are diamond, jade, crystal, topaz, and sapphire. The precious stone came from Afghanistan, Baghdad, Ceylon, China, Egypt, Golconda, Persian, Punjab, and Russia. This building built in Agra between 1631 and 1648 by order of the Mughal emperor of Shah Jahan. At first glance, this building resembles mostly mosque in general. Actually, the Taj Mahal is a building which built over the tomb of Shah Jahan's wife, her name is Mumtaz ul-Zamani or Also known as Mumtaz Mahal. Name Mumtaz Mahal meaning jewel of the palace. The name of Mumtaz Mahal is given to Mumtaz ul-Zamani in 1628 after Shah Jahan became king in Mughal. Mumtaz Mahal was the third wife of Shah Jahan. However, she is his favorite wife who died in 1631. She died in childbirth of their fourteenth daughter, her name is Gauhara Begum. The purpose of development the Taj Mahal is in order to perpetuate the memory of Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal recognized as a masterpiece of the world's heritage in 1983.

The main architect in the manufacture of the Taj Mahal is Ahmad Lahori and involve of 2,000 labors. The Taj Mahal building is consists of the mosque, the guest house, the main gateway, the outer courtyard, and the cloisters. The mosque and the guest house are built of red sandstone. The main gate stands majestically which is flanked by the double arcade galleries. The Darwaza is the majestic gateway which has a large of three-storey red sandstone. The gate was decorated with 1,000 nails of silver coin in its heads. The Bageecha is garden which is consists of two marble canals which is equipped with fountains. The Taj Mahal is located in the north end of the garden. The Taj Mahal is bounded by four isolated minarets, there is the Rauza. The Rauza is the mausoleum which becomes central structure on the platform. The Taj Mahal is visited by about 4 million visitors each year.
The Taj Mahal is located in Agra district, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was built beside the Yamuna river in vast of nearly 17 hectares. In 2011, the existence of the Taj Mahal in a dangerous because the wood that supported the structure of the building began fragile because the water in the river Yamuna is decreasing. Thus, the Taj Mahal is feared could collapse at any time if there is no good treatment. But, it seems still in good condition in 2015 due to improvements made. Ticket prices for entrance to the Taj Mahal is an IRS 100 for foreigner amd 5 for local IRS. The Taj Mahal will not be opened in the Friday and during Ramadan (the ninth month in Muslim calendar). The Taj is also able to visited in the night when the full moon (in each middle of the Muslim calendar).
