One theory of the emergence of the Grand Canyon is the collision between earth's plate of the Pacific and the North American. About 1.7 billion years ago, most of the earth's surface covered by water, so there is marine life occurs above the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon National Park divided into two parts, those are south and north rims. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park is more remote and harder to get to.
