La Torre in Pisa or often called the Tower of Pisa is a very famous building. Almost all people around the world recognize this unique building because its unintended tilt. The Tower of Pisa is actually a freestanding bell tower of the cathedral in Pisa, Italy. According to historical records, the Tower of Pisa was built in three periods for about 200 years. The first period of construction of the tower is done in the year 1173, due to the structure of ground is unstable, the building of the bell tower is not as expected. Construction was halted after the third floor was built and the tower has began little bit to sink. The second period of the tower construction resumed in 1272 after the condition of the soil structure is considered good enough. The fourth floor is built with one side taller than the other in an effort to compensate for the tilt. Again, construction of the second period was stopped in 1284 because of the war.
