La Torre in Pisa or often called the Tower of Pisa is a very famous building. Almost all people around the world recognize this unique building because its unintended tilt. The Tower of Pisa is actually a freestanding bell tower of the cathedral in Pisa, Italy. According to historical records, the Tower of Pisa was built in three periods for about 200 years. The first period of construction of the tower is done in the year 1173, due to the structure of ground is unstable, the building of the bell tower is not as expected. Construction was halted after the third floor was built and the tower has began little bit to sink. The second period of the tower construction resumed in 1272 after the condition of the soil structure is considered good enough. The fourth floor is built with one side taller than the other in an effort to compensate for the tilt. Again, construction of the second period was stopped in 1284 because of the war. In the third period, the seventh floor was completed in 1319 and the bell chamber was finally added in 1372. Inside of the Tower of Pisa There are seven bells representing seven tones.

The lowest side of the Tower of Pisa has a height of 55.68 meters from the ground and the top side is 56.70 meters from the ground. In 2010, the slope of the Tower of Pisa was recorded at 3.99 degrees of the position should be. The nearest station of the Tower of Pisa is Pisa Centrale station. The Tower of Pisa is located about 15 kilometers from Pisa Centrale station. Next travel from Pisa Centrale station toward the Tower of Pisa can use the public bus or LAM Rossa (bus with red color sign on the front). LAM is Linea ad Alta Mobilita, LAM is a bus that which is distinguished by color instead of number. The cost of both these public vehicles is EUR 0.1 for each single journey. The entrance ticket is charged to visitors to be able to get into the Tower of Pisa is at a cost of EUR 15.
