In 2010, there was terrible disaster which happened in Yogyakarta that is eruption of volcano, named Merapi. This disaster made many people loss their home, occupation, friend even family. But in every calamity, there always has a wisdom which can be taken. Break the time of year after year, around location has great landscape. Because of gorgeous scenery, this location become interesting attraction. Completing facilities for visitors, around location has many adventure service which equipped by fascinating transportation. Visitors can use jeep to do this tour. Rent costs for Jeep ranging from Rp. 300.000,- (USD 23) to Rp. 500.000,- (USD 38) for each Jeep (comfortably available for 4 passenger). During tour, jeep tenant will be accompanied by professional driver. Period of time to complete a journey is about 2,5 to 3 hours. Merapi is not bad for hiking. Several climb lovers make Merapi as their favorite place for climbing.

During the tour, visitors will go through location of trace disaster. Certainly, you will get great experience. Exploring and awing nature are passionate which is offered by this adventure. Around location has many interesting place like several trace villages affected by the disaster, Museum Sisa Hartaku (my remaining treasures), ex-bunker, and alien stone.
Actually, Museum Sisa Hartuku is a broke home because of eruption of Merapi volcano. This house belongs to Mr. Kimin and also all collections belongs to him and families. The collections consist of cutlery, furniture, television, motorcycle, clothing, and other. Most interesting thing is a clock which display the time when the disaster happened. Bunker around location should be rescued place for local citizen, it was made for them. Unfortunately, it can't work properly. There were two victims who were trapped in the bunker when the disaster happened. Now, ex-bunker becomes one of the most interesting place for visitors. Alien stone does not mean a stone from outer space. It comes from Merapi volcano, the eruption carried the stone from inside crater to hundreds meters outside crater. This is named as alien stone because this is a unique one. It is the biggest stone which is contained around location. Visit Yogyakarta does not seem interesting if sliding over this one.
